Nancy Roberts
Nancy Adams Roberts was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She has three brothers and four sisters. Nancy and her brother, Charles, are twins. Nancy went to high school in Arlington Heights, Illinois. After graduation she moved to North Hollywood, California, then moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, then back to El Segundo, California. She later moved to Tampa, Florida where she married and had one daughter. Nancy worked for First Housing monitoring low-income homes in the state of Florida until they were wiped out by Hurricane Andrew in 1992.
Nancy later moved to Louisiana because she had two sisters in the Shreveport area. She worked for Highland Clinic as the receptionist, then worked several years for Kitchens Law Firm before coming to Nelson & Hammons in February 2002. Nancy started as a legal secretary and now works as the receptionist. Besides answering the telephones, she schedules depositions for all firm attorneys and maintains the prescription deadlines which are extremely important in medical malpractice cases.
Nancy loves to read – anything from Readers Digest Condensed Books, biographies, history, and of course, romances. She loves old movies, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her four granddaughters and great grandson.
